As an institutional co-founder we have also worked on the founding team to ensure a great collaborative and healthy environment in addition to the Teal organization practices and must-have entrepreneurial practices
Because being part of the team almost like a co-founder can be emotional we are keeping the investment decision independent from the team who has work in the company and only feed the investment due diligence with their info and feedbacks.
Pipeline & Due diligence steps:
Selection of organization to participate in the Ignition program of 2months to work and align on the strategy and the priorities in Finance, Sales & Marketing, Product, Culture & Governance and Impact strategy
4 months or more with SCOBY team as a collective co-founder in the company and validation of the traction goals
Selection from the general partner and partners
LP voting and feedback and Due-Diligence by the fund team and partners
Investment Committee to decide on the investment
